Not the first book on Final Cut Pro that I bought - but I wish it had been. Superbly illustrated, brilliantly paced (even for a complete beginner) and written with exemplary clarity. I lost count of the number of forehead slapping now-I-get-it moments that it gave me. If other books on FCP leave you banging your head against the desk (they did me) this one will take the pain away.
well worth buying - This book is really all you need to deal with the problems that Final Cut Pro has in store, and they will be many, if this is your first editing experience. The book is very well structured, it is very easy to find what you are looking for via the index, and it is even worth buying just for the time saving advice it gives here and there.buy!
A Brilliant Book! - I can t praise this book too strongly. It makes the whole process of using Final Cut incredibly straightforward. When I get stuck this is the book I turn to - and it s never let me down.
A bloody fantastic book- buy it ! - After the initial shock of the amount of pages in this book, it was actually very easy to read. the headings are clear with tips and hints all the way through. The learning curve in the book is just right, any steeper and i would have given up, but the best thing about the book was the several pages at the back telling the reader EVERY single shortcut for the programme! You don t have to have a background in DNLE but it helps. And being a lot cheaper than most computer books, it s well worth the money.
